We drove up to the Sedona area for a week of camping, eating, hiking, and picture taking. Today we mostly focused on getting a lay of the land and what a beautiful land it is! We took these pictures while we were driving around Sedona and Red Rock.
We stopped at The Chapel of the Holy Cross (fifth picture). It is a multi-denominational church that is over 50 years old. The mountains behind the church are called the Mystic Hills. The cross is the most prominent feature and it looks like it was wedged into the rock.
We started the eating part at a cute place in Jerome. We had blue corn enchiladas and our first margarita ever at 15 Quince Grill and Cantina. They were both very good.
Be prepared, it is so beautiful here we will probably be posting pictures every day.
