August 29th, 2013 – Zion National Park, UT

Today we went hiking in the east side of the park and the west side of the park.  The first eight pictures are of the east side.  As you can see it looks different than Zion Canyon.  We ran into some big horn sheep so that was exciting.  The west side of the park (the last four pictures) is Kolob Canyon.  It is so beautiful.  Pictures really do not do justice to how beautiful this park is (but we tried).

So beautiful!! We have learned the same thing… showed our trip pictures on our tv screen last night to some of the neighbors. Still pretty but just not like eyeballing it with your own two eyes. These are things EVERYONE should see in person. Gorgeous and awesome to behold! I may NEVER get over seeing the Badlands. Took my breath away!
