May 15th, 2014 – Kings Canyon National Park (Day 2) – Springville, CA

We spent the day in Kings Canyon.  It was a beautiful drive into the canyon and out of the canyon.  On the way to the canyon, we passed the Kings River (first two pictures).  It was rushing beautifully over the rocks and California is in a drought!  We can’t imagine what it would have been like in a normal season.  We saw two beautiful waterfalls (Grizzly Falls (first two waterfall pictures) and Roaring Rivers Falls in the second one (other waterfall picture).  We also took a stroll around Zumwalt Meadow (5th and 6th picture).
