May 23rd, 2016 – Delaware Park – Wilmington, Delaware

We are making our way through Delaware slowly, waiting for our granddaughter Bella to finish with school.  We stopped at Delaware Park to see some thoroughbred racing.  We were interrupted by a huge thunderstorm, but we got to enjoy 5 races.  Evidently Leslie is better at picking quarter horse winners than thoroughbred winners, but at least we finished the day even.

    Hi Leslie,

It sure looks like you are having great weather and having a good time. You must be so proud of your son. It was nice that you could all be there for the graduation. As always Don’s pictures are perfect. I always enjoy seeing them.

No great excitement at SVDP. We’ve been fairly slow and no LIHEAP for Pima county.

We miss you for sure. Drive safely and continue to enjoy your trip.

Seems you two are getting a ‘well rounded education’ in your travels. Good for you – that’s wonderful. I’m much older than you and find out every day that I still have much to learn. Don and I toured Churchill Downs a few years ago and found it to be exciting and interesting.
