June 16th, 2016 – Tahquamenon Falls State Park – Paradise, Michigan

We camped at Tahquamenon Falls State Park which allowed us the opportunity to walk to some beautiful falls.  There are two sets of falls, the upper (8th and 9th pictures) and the lower, which is really a set of 5 five falls (pictures 2,3 and 6,7).   The water is brown in color from the tannins leached from the cedar swamps which the river drains.  Merlin got to go with us and when we got to the first fall overlook, he got up on the fence and started to bark and then turn to Don as if he was saying to him “Hey look at this” (4th picture).
